Queen’s College, London is delighted to announce its success at the Talk Education Awards for Innovation in Education, where the College has been recognised for its pioneering approach to curriculum innovation as winner of the 'Thinking Beyond The Curriculum' category.
The award celebrates Queen’s commitment to developing an education that goes beyond traditional subject boundaries, encouraging pupils to think independently, make connections between disciplines and apply their learning to the world around them.
At the heart of this approach is Future Frontiers, Queen’s innovative EduQual-endorsed programme, which brings together critical thinking and real-world application. The programme reflects the College’s belief that the most valuable learning is not simply about acquiring knowledge, but about developing the confidence and intellectual curiosity to use it.
This recognition follows Queen’s inclusion in the Spear’s Top 100 Schools Index 2026, placing the College among leading schools internationally, and its latest inclusion in the Tatler Schools Guide.
The Tatler Guide review similarly recognised Queen’s commitment to innovation, noting that academic achievement is only part of the picture and that the school places “equal importance on personal development, confidence and creativity”.
For Queen’s, this is an important distinction. Curriculum innovation is about asking what young people need to thrive in a changing world, and creating the opportunities, experiences and intellectual challenges that will help them do so.
The Talk Education award is therefore a fitting recognition of a philosophy that has long been part of Queen’s identity. With a pioneering history stretching back to 1848, the College continues to ask what education can, and should, look like for the next generation.
