A huge congratulations to the U12 Football Team, who have won the U12 Westminster Football Tournament!
The squad, led brilliantly by our diligent team captain, competed against five other schools: Francis Holland Sloane Square, St Marylebone School, All Saints Catholic High School, King Salomon Academy and St George's School.
They played with great confidence and enthusiasm individually and as a team. Four Queen's players claimed goals, perfectly showcasing the forwards' attacking strength and skill.
At the other end of the pitch, the defensive players were equally impressive. The back four worked tirelessly to protect their goal, while the midfield three worked incredibly hard throughout.
The team kept their composure, even up against two intense penalty shootouts.
Well done to the attacking players who scored, and a special mention must go to our goalkeeper, whose crucial save secured victory and ultimately led QCL to the tournament title.
This was a fantastic team effort, and every pupil should be incredibly proud of their contribution. Congratulations to all involved on an outstanding achievement and a memorable tournament victory!
